Systemic risks are potentially harmful events, that could severely disrupt an entire industry or economy. Examples include the bankruptcy of keystone companies and biosecurity incursions. According to United Nations, detecting managing systemic risk represents one main challenges 21st century. Due increasing complexity interconnectedness today’s social-technological-biophysical systems, stakeholders relying on individual disciplines detection, a combination not well coordinated, will fail promptly identify key early warning signals threats. Our paper argues transdisciplinary approaches required make comprehensive integrative assessments complex systems. To support undertaking such assessments, we propose framework assist them in: (1) better understanding their system which it is exposed; (2) selecting complementary disciplines, theories methods relevant in question; (3) integrating knowledge from these different detect wide range risk. The can be used as foundation build detection.
